Be an Olympian like RAYNA

Rayna Buckle has been an artistic swimmer for 12 years and lives in Sydney, NSW.

Born in the island nation to a Singaporean mother and Australian father, Rayna started artistic swimming in Singapore with her younger sister in 2009. 

She began competing on the Singapore national team in 2015 and competed at World Championships in Kazan in 2015 at only 14, which was a highlight of her artistic swimming career. Rayna was also a member of Singapore’s team which competed at the 2015 South East Asian Games competing in front of a home crowd in Singapore.

Since 2015, Rayna has competed on the Singapore national team at the 2018 Junior World Championships in Budapest and 2019 World Championships in Gwangju. 

After completing her studies at the Anglo Chinese Junior College in Singapore, Rayna moved to Australia in 2020 to study for her Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) at Sydney University. She is currently a member of the Sydney Emeralds Artistic Swimming club, who train at Cook and Phillip Pool at Hyde Park.

Rayna makes her Olympic debut at the Tokyo Games, representing Australia in both team events.
